Hi, my name is Sam Sporborg, and I’m a freelance videographer specialising in creating visually compelling, high-quality video content. My journey as a videographer started at 13, experimenting with a GoPro on family holidays and during my spare time. I quickly became passionate about the art of storytelling through film, which led me to pursue Media Studies at both GCSE and A-Level. During this time, I gained valuable experience at TinyStudios (formerly known as Celiafilms) and began creating content for my own clients during school holidays. A standout project from this period was a short film I produced for ITV presenter Francesca Cumani.

 

As my passion for videography grew, it transitioned from a hobby into a career. I was approached by M3 Media, a leading horse racing media production company in Newmarket, Suffolk, and invited to join their content creation team. Even while balancing A-Level studies, I gained invaluable experience working with M3 Media during the holidays, and after my exams, I committed to a six-month work stint. This role opened doors to word-of-mouth opportunities in digital content creation for individuals, company promotions, sporting events, and weddings.

 

I’ve recently graduated with First-Class Honours in Digital Media Production from Oxford Brookes University. Throughout my studies, I expanded my skill set and gained hands-on experience in creating a variety of digital media, including short films, music videos, and documentaries.

 

Now, having completed my degree, I’m focusing full-time on my freelance videography career. I’m passionate about growing Sam Sporborg Media, and I’m excited to take on new and diverse projects, from capturing special events to creating promotional content and everything in between.
